Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to access, correct, or delete your information.

Last updated: September 28, 2026

This policy explains what personal information RALP Technologies Inc. ("RALP", "we") collects through ralptechnologies.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

1. Who we are

RALP Technologies Inc. is a federally incorporated company based in Surrey, British Columbia. We help people compare and find financial products, and we refer them to partner institutions. We are not a lender, bank, card issuer, or mortgage brokerage.

Our Privacy Officer is responsible for how we handle personal information: [Privacy Officer full name], privacy@ralptechnologies.com, [mailing address].

You use the contact formName, email, topic, and your message.

What we don't collect: we do not ask for your Social Insurance Number, bank account or card numbers, or government ID, and we do not run credit checks. Please don't include these in any message to us.

Cookies and analytics: this site does not currently use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to you and send the information you asked for.
  • To contact you when the lending pilot opens for your loan type and province.
  • To send emails about product matches and launches, only if you agreed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which pages and links people use and how many people are interested in each loan type, so we can plan the pilot and report demand to partners without identifying you.
  • To confirm referrals with partners so we can be paid, using click IDs only.
  • To prevent spam and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

We ask for your consent when you submit a form. Email consent is a separate, unticked checkbox, as Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) requires. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link, or by writing to privacy@ralptechnologies.com. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer contact you about the pilot.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with lead brokers.

  • Lenders and financial institutions: never without asking you first. When the lending pilot opens, we will explain which institutions would receive your details and ask for your express permission before sending anything.
  • Neo Financial: when you click a Neo link, you go to Neo's website and Neo's privacy policy applies. We send Neo only the click ID in the link, not your name or contact details.
  • Service providers: companies that host this site, store form submissions, and send email for us. They may use your information only to provide that service to RALP. Our current providers are [list: e.g. web host, Google Workspace / Google Sheets, email service].
  • Fonts: pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
  • Legal reasons: if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of users or RALP.
  • Business transfer: if RALP is merged or sold, personal information may be transferred under the same protections described here.

6. Storage outside Canada

Some of our service providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored there may be accessible to courts and authorities in that country under its laws.

7. How long we keep it

  • Pilot registrations and "Get started" submissions: until 24 months after our last contact with you, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.
  • Contact form messages: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
  • Click records: up to 36 months, for referral accounting with partners.
  • Records of consent and unsubscribes: as long as needed to show we respected your choice.

8. Security

We limit access to people who need it, use accounts with two-factor authentication, and transmit forms over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.

9. Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email privacy@ralptechnologies.com or use our contact form and choose "Privacy request". We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in British Columbia, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC.

10. Age

This site is for adults who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

11. Changes to this policy

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we will ask for your consent again.
