Short version: RALP is free for you because some of the companies we link to pay us. That payment never changes what you pay, and approval is always decided by the company, not by us.
Who pays us today
| Partner | Relationship | When we may be paid |
|---|---|---|
| Neo Financial | Affiliate Referral Agreement | When someone who clicked a RALP link signs up for, or is approved for, an eligible Neo product. The exact trigger is set by our agreement with Neo. |
Neo is currently our only paying partner, so every card recommendation on the site today is a Neo product. When we add partners, we'll list them here.
Neo's $100K Dream Giveaway
The giveaway shown on our site is sponsored and run by Neo Financial, not RALP. RALP promotes it as a paid affiliate. Entry rules, eligibility (including the Quebec exclusion), odds, and prizes are set in Neo's Official Rules.
How we mark paid links
- Links to partners are marked as sponsored in the page code (rel="sponsored").
- Each partner link carries a random click ID so the partner can tell us which clicks led to sign-ups. The ID doesn't include your name or contact details.
- Partner sections on the site are labelled "Partner promotion" or "Affiliate partner".
How it affects what we show
We show products because we think they fit the people this site is for: students, newcomers, and credit builders. We don't accept payment to describe a product more favourably, and we don't hide fees or conditions. With more than one partner, we'll rank products by fit, not by how much we're paid, and say so if that ever changes.
The lending pilot
When the mortgage and loan pilot launches, lenders may pay RALP a fee when a borrower accepts their offer. Borrowers won't pay RALP. We'll publish how pilot fees work before the pilot opens.
